TV GOOD NEWS GUY,
Family Heritage Stories
Featured on Good Things Utah
For Doug, it all started with a cassette recorder he got for Christmas when he was 12 years old. His favorite person to interview was his Gramps that would share stories of his life and even sing a couple of songs in Swedish. The last words his Gramps said were "Please Remember Me." Doug is now a grandfather himself, and as a longtime broadcaster, helps facilitate people to tell their story...even if they don't think they have one.
Doug has been a broadcaster for over 40 years and can be seen weekly in his TV show, Jessop's Journal on ABC 4 TV. You can also see Doug as the TV Garden Guy that airs during Fresh Living on KUTV 2, KMYU 12, KJZZ 14 ; Good Things Utah on ABC4, Studio 5 on KSL 5 and The Place on FOX 13. You can see a number of his news segments over the years HERE.
